Consultation
Send the form below with your idea, placement, and any reference images. We talk it through in person or by email — no commitment, no pressure, no charge.
Deposit
A flat deposit holds your appointment and comes off the final price. It covers drawing time if you change your mind — that's the whole arrangement, stated up front.
Design
Your artist drafts the piece and sends it before your session. One round of revisions is built in; fine line rewards getting the drawing right before the needle.
Session
Most small pieces finish in one sitting of one to two hours. We work in a licensed studio with single-use needles and hospital-grade sterilization — standard practice, plainly stated.
How fine line ages
Honest answer: all tattoos soften with time, and fine line softens sooner than bold work. Lines thicken slightly as ink settles, and very tight detail can blur over years. That's why we size lettering to stay legible, space fine detail so it has room to spread, and steer you away from placements that age hard — hands, fingers, the inside of the foot. Done right, you get fine line work that still looks fine in five years. Done too small, too tight, or in the wrong spot, it doesn't — and we'll tell you which is which at the consult.

Before You Ask
Honest answers to common questions.
Does it hurt? I've never been tattooed before.
Yes, some — but fine line is about as gentle as tattooing gets. Most clients describe it as a scratchy, annoying feeling rather than real pain, and small pieces are over in under an hour. Tell us it's your first on the form; we'll pace the session, explain everything as we go, and you can ask to pause any time. Nobody here thinks less of a first-timer.
How does pricing work?
A shop minimum covers setup, sterile supplies, and small pieces; larger work is the minimum plus an hourly rate. You get the actual number at your consultation, once we've scoped the design — we don't publish a price list because two "small" tattoos can be very different amounts of work. No surprises at the session: the quote you get at the consult is the quote.
How do I take care of it afterward?
You leave with printed aftercare instructions and everything you need for the first wash. Short version: keep it clean, moisturize thin, stay out of pools and direct sun for two weeks, and don't pick at it while it heals. Fine line heals fast when you follow the sheet — and we're a phone call away if anything looks off.
How old do I have to be?
Eighteen, with a valid government-issued photo ID — no exceptions, including with parental consent. It's a legal requirement and we check every time, so bring your ID even if you've been in before.
What about touch-ups?
One touch-up within six months of your session is free if healing didn't take evenly — it happens, even with perfect aftercare. After that, touch-ups are priced at the shop minimum. Sun-faded or years-old work is quoted as a fresh consult, so we can be honest about whether a touch-up or a rework serves the piece better.
